October-November 2019

OUR OCTOBER-NOVEMBER UPDATE: The Work of our fall ministry was busy, but extremely blessed by the Lord! Our hearts are full, and the fervor continues to grow. We are rejoicing over so many things to report…first, thank you for your faithful prayers, love and support. Second, a big thank you to all who opened up their homes for fellowship across our many miles. We are so thankful for the time we had with you and yours! 

NOTES: We will be in Alaska visiting family and ministering the Word of God the next 2 months. Please take note that any support sent by mail may take a little longer to be deposited. Also, our envelopes need to be reprinted due to an old address on them. If you don’t know it already, please take note of the new address for correspondence on the footer of our website. We will attempt to produce an annual “report” newsletter after the first of the year, but this may not be accomplished until we return from Alaska the first part of February. 

REJOICE POINTS:

1. God gave us tremendous meetings! Fall Revival at Pleasant Plains Baptist in Apex, NC-Great time preaching for and fellowshipping with college friends; Rachel spoke at a Ladies’ Retreat in Trafalgar, IN-She really enjoyed this wonderful opportunity; Fall Revival at Hopewell Baptist in Pana, IL-they sold their current building, and we are looking forward to visiting them once they get in their new building; Rachel sang for the Sparrow/Oaks Wedding in Kokomo, IN; Fall Jubilee at Fair Haven Baptist in Charlestown, IN-excellent meeting, tremendous reception of the Word and asked to return yearly; Fall Revival at First Baptist in Rochelle, IL-great responses to the messages and the in-home visits that were made; Teen Field Trip at Camp Joy-over 100 teenagers came to the camp from an academy in Wisconsin to receive the messages, and they were an exciting crowd to preach to; Sunday at Solid Rock Baptist in Liberty, KY-it was good to reconnect with a supporting church family from E1 (Evangelism the First Time). :-)

2. God gave us 10 more meetings since our last letter! Three more in 2019 taking the total meeting count for 2019 to 57, and 7 more for 2020 taking the total to 22 meetings scheduled for 2020…Praise the Lord— we can’t wait to see how the Lord will continue to fill our schedule for His glory as there are other pastors who have reached out inquiring about and praying toward a time we can join them for ministry!

3. God blessed us with a WEEKLY supporter, etc…our total monthly support is $640/month! God is so good! We had one supporter who started giving weekly support, another who increased their support $5 a month, and a couple of supporters who blessed with Christmas “bonuses!” We are so thankful for every one of our supporters. Your consistent and gracious giving allows us to GO more freely as we seek God for revival and spread the good news of Jesus Christ!

4. God blessed us with the start of a future car fund…per the designated giving of a family that we enjoyed fellowship with in October-Hallelujah!
