The Smith Family
We are Justyn, Rachel, and Lydia Smith.
We serve the Lord through Biblical preaching, sacred music, and local church ministry—all with A Heart For Revival.
Background
God has graciously led our family through many seasons of ministry.
Justyn was called to preach in 2003. After meeting at Pensacola Christian College, Justyn and Rachel were married in 2007 and began serving the Lord together.
Through pastoral ministry, evangelism, and years of traveling in revival ministry, the Lord has continually confirmed the burden He placed upon our hearts: to see people reached, families strengthened, and churches revived.
Today, we continue serving wherever the Lord opens the door—grateful for every opportunity to preach Christ and encourage the local church.

Our Ministry
Preaching. Music. Revival.
A Heart For Revival exists to come alongside local churches through Biblical preaching, sacred music, and revival ministry.
Our prayer is that Christ would be exalted, believers strengthened, families helped, and the lost reached with the Gospel.
What We Believe
THE BIBLE
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives. We use the King James Bible.
JESUS CHRIST AND THE GOSPEL
Jesus Christ was virgin born, lived sinless, died as the suffering Lamb of God on the cross in our place, and rose again in eternal triumph over sin and the grave. We are forgiven and at peace with the Holy God of Heaven because of Jesus' blood that was shed on calvary's cross. We believe that Jesus Christ is coming back again as the conquering King.
SALVATION
We believe in Biblical Salvation. It is comprised of three parts: 1. Justification (commonly referred to as the day of one's salvation or getting saved), 2. Sanctification (the day-to-day life of a believer becoming more like Christ) and 3. Glorification (when we see Him..."we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is." 1 John 3:2b").
We believe salvation is, "Repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ." Acts 20:21b
We believe salvation is a gift from God and not obtained by the works of man.
THE TRINITY
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, and all three are one (I John 5:7) Who have a dynamic role in all things. He is totally just, wonderfully loving and completely holy.
THE CHURCH
We believe in the power and significance of the local church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together.

Camp Joy
Starting in April of 2019, a partnership between Camp Joy (Whitewater, WI) and A Heart For Revival Ministries (Princeville, IL) was established. This partnership of ministries is a result of several years of companionship and co-laboring in different capacities. We are excited to promote and serve each other as both ministries move forward for the glory of God!
